Hannah + Levi | Santa Clarita Wedding

It was a beautiful day in September; also crazy! It was the first time I had shot TWO weddings in ONE day. While it was exhausting, it was an awesome experience to be able to capture so much love in one day. To see so many family and friends gathered around you and celebrate you and your new spouse is such a blessing to have. 

Hannah and Levi's wedding was nothing short of beautiful. Between the intimate ceremony cradled under the large oak trees and the sunset peaking through during portraits, it was all breathtaking.

Malibu Wedding | Doug + Katrina Volkenant

Here's just a taste of Doug + Katrina's beautiful Malibu wedding at Malibu West Beach Club on a warm, sunny day along the Southern California coast!

Doug: "My wife Katrina is the most beautiful person I have ever met. She has the biggest heart and her smile is contagious. I love spending each and every day with her and miss her when we are apart. She makes me feel amazing every day and that no matter what, she will be there for me. Katrina is my life and I can't imagine it without her.

I loved that we had our wedding at the beach just like we always wanted. It was so beautiful and having our friends and family there to celebrate with us made it all the more magical. The wedding went by so fast and I didn't want it to end. Every detail was just so amazing. From the arch, to all of the decor and our favorite colors blue and purple featured all throughout the venue."

Katrina: "A few things that I love about Doug is how humble and warm he is to everyone around him - he is always willing to put aside his own worries to help anyone and always does it with a smile; I love his smile! I love how he can make me laugh at anytime - his gorgeous blue eyes smiling at me while he says some witty comment that leaves me giggling. I love how he shares the same dreams as me, and that he will do anything to make sure those dreams come true for us. He is always so giving, his heart is so big and he is the most wonderful person that I know and I am lucky - and so proud! - to call him my husband.

My favorite part of our wedding was that we were able to make that dream come true for us- and it was perfect! We got married right on the ocean like we had always talked about, with our toes in the sand. Everything felt like a fairytale from the decorations to the cake! I loved everything about it. One of my most favorite moments was walking down the aisle and seeing Doug standing there with the biggest smile on his face. He mouthed the words "You're Beautiful" to me as I walked towards him, and I didn't have a doubt in my mind that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him."
